Developed to meet the essential safety functions medium machines
AWAX SOFT advantageously replaces the basic logical security functions. Pre-programmed, it brings:

Applications and associated functions :

• Robot cell, palletizer, depalletizer: management input / output dead zone, musting, emergency stop, safety sensor.
• Packaging machines, assemblies, inertia machines: crusher type, mixer with functions: zero speed controller, safety relay, estop, safety sensor. All these preprogrammed functions have been designed and implemented into our AWAX SOFT, in collaboration with our certified partner ISO 9001 / UL certified in Aeronautics, RATP, SNCF, fields …

Up to seven dedicated functions are programmed in one click. Thus the inputs / outputs and the processing logic are automatically set. It is however possible to act on certain parameters (change the position of the inputs / outputs, set timers, change the reset mode, change the activation mode of the inputs).
The HMI enables customizable functions, thanks to the combinational logic functions, the various timers, and the different modes of the inputs.
An RS232 link is used to communicate to a process controller or display device. It is about the traceability of the events, to be able to personalize the name of the inputs / outputs thanks to the HMI. For example, it is interesting to know how long an exit has remained Open. This RS232 link also makes it possible to transmit all the system or external errors. Finally it is possible to graphically display the configuration of a box.
The AWAX SOFT programmable box is configured by connecting the ?USB cable to the PC. When the ?USB cable is connected and the 24V power supply is present, it is impossible to enter the HMI configuration mode. In this case it is necessary to cut the 24 V.
The micro-USB connector is used to connect the PLC to a PC.
The RS232 link is used to connect the AWAX SOFT to a visualization system. The RS232 link is active when the USB cable is not connected to the PC. (Communication protocol: see Appendix XXX)
A two-color LED on the front panel displays the status of the system.
The operation of the PLC6140 + IO8180 module is the same as the PLC6140 operation alone. The IO8180 block increases the number of inputs / outputs available.
